Tarek Elshaarawy, M.D.

Board Certified Vascular Surgeon


Dr. Elshaarawy earned his medical degree from Ain Shams University in Cairo-Egypt. He completed residencies at Ain Shams University Hospitals, Frankford Hospital in Philadelphia, and New Jersey Medical School in Newark, New Jersey. He also completed a vascular surgery fellowship at Newark Beth Israel Medical Center. Dr. Elshaarawy is board-certified. Dr. Elshaarawy has been practicing Vascular Surgery in Battle Creek for the past 13 years.

Syed M. Faisal Alam, M.D.

Board Certified Vascular Surgeon


Dr. Alam earned his medical degree from Dow Medical College in Karachi, Pakistan. He completed general surgery residency at St. Mary’s Hospital at Yale University School of Medicine in Waterbury and New Haven, CT. He went to complete his vascular surgery fellowship at the Univeristy of Tennessee Health Science Center in Memphis, TN. Dr. Alam has been practicing Vascular Surgery in Western Michigan since 2012 and is affiliated with Western Michigan University and Michigan State University.

Kirstin Tymkew, PA-C


Kirstin is an A.T. Still University Arizona School of Health Sciences Physician Assistant Program graduate in Mesa, Arizona. Prior to becoming a Physician Assistant, Kirstin was a Registered Nurse in intensive care. Kirstin is originally from Southwest Michigan and is happy to be providing patients with compassionate care in her hometown.
